I am sitting in the internet cafe writing this and time is ticking away so I don't have much to say. But well basically, i'm living in my sis' apartment in Berkeley. Berkeley is a very beautiful place but I haven't had time to explore yet. Still having jet lag, couldn't really sleep last night.

My sis' apartment is not too bad, but pretty dusty though cos nobody's been cleaning up. and yep. The weather is pretty nice, it gets kinda cold sometimes but in the house, it's warm and okay.

Last night we went to eat Thai food, it was terrible! and American food is very expensive. and american portion is huge. OH! And I saw this restaurant that was called Pollo's. I was laughing about it. I didn't know Pollo opened a restaurant. hey Pollo, you there? you chicken!

okie dokes. My bro's parking only for 30 mins. don't wanna overshot. and going around to a few places today. so yep. Hope my brother doesn't fall asleep while driving.

I am in Hong Kong now and I need a bath

I'm leaving tomorrow and so many things still unpacked and i can't find my SNOW QUEEN! GOSH NOOO! Jeremy Guilbaut! He HAS to come with me to the US. and my toys are lying around, all begging to come, but I can only bring a few with me.

And yes, I'm leaving tomorrow, 28th December (cos I pushed it back) if you have any intention to send me off, I'm flying at 5pm. I'll try to go to the airport by 3pm if possible, but considering the fact that I am travelling with my WHOLE family, it would be quite a difficult task waiting for all the slow pokes (which includes myself) and also, please don't arrive the airport at 5pm, first, you won't even see me there cos I'll be sitting in the plane already. Check in time is probably 4+, so come bfore that.

Just for fun, I typed in my sister's name and surname on Google and got quite a number of results. She's in this Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society And I found out she was doing research on: Synthesis and Characterization of Heteropolyphosphomolybdate Compounds.

WHOA WHOA WHOA! Heteropolyphosphomolybdate Like how in the world do you even pronounce that? She just finished her Finals and had to fly to Singapore the day after. When we talked on the phone, she sounded so so dead. Poor girl, I bet she didn't sleep a wink. I shall smother her with hugs and kisses, which she said ICK to online... but I bet she secretly likes it.

Going back to Singapore in two days. Bought some stuffs today. A jacket, long pants and this warm slippers with a brown monkey on the head. SO CUTE! There was some pig ones, which were really really soft such that I felt like I was walking on air. Don't know why, in the end, everyone convinced me to get the monkey ones. It's not as comfy, but the monkeys are tons cute. I'm going to call the left one KI, and the right one KO. KI KO.

My mom bought some funny looking socks too that has certain slots for toes. heheh.. might feel a lil' uncomfortable, but my mom says that way, each toe gets to snuggle up and be warm. I still haven't gotten any sandals and stationaries. And i really hope my one pair of shoes can last me the entire year.

Last night, I went to check DW TV again. They were showing news in English spoken with a German accent in the afternoon. But at night, oh boy, it was GERMAN! I sat there for the whole hour just watching news. Incredible eh? All I remembered was: Wahl in Irak and Mehr infomationen. Hahaha.. oh and I found a Spanish channel too.

Anyways, sometimes stupid happened today. I was at driving class and I got the most patient instructor out of all the 4, so it was pretty ok. I barely drove for 5 mins, then we passed by this roadcheck and there's some policemen out there. and these police have nothing better to do but look for trouble, so they told us to pull over at the side. The instructor handed all the documents and license to the police who looked at them and said that something has expired.

So the instructor said he is just an employee and this kind of stuffs is normally the company handle one. Then the police was like, do you know what happens when the document expire?
Instructor: "I'm only an employee."
Police:"The company might we suspended."
Instructor and me: "..."
Police:"I'll give you one last chance now to amend for it. it's your last chance."

Basically, what the police meant by his words was, gimme money and I'll let the matter off. See, the basis of Indonesia! BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION!

So, the instructor got out of the car and started to talk to the police. I didn't see them cos I was parked in front and I got bored and took out my book and started reading. After some time, the instructor came back and we headed back to the driving centre. I got cheated cos I drove less than 10 mins when it was supposed to be a half an hour lesson. The instructor said the documents were still with the police, so he had to cut short the time and promises to make up for it. Even though he was a nice person, I didn't tip him and he didn't ask either.

As for the policeman, I expect he'll get his bribe. Sheesh, everywhere it's like that! Custom immigration, police on the road, everything.. fegs when will things ever change

Being the bored person that I am, I went to check out what funny channels my cable TV has other than the usuals. Normally all I watch are Disney Channel, Star World, AXN, Animax etc. So, i went throught every single channel today and found some interesting channels.
I found:
1 Italian channel (too bad no subtitles)
2 French channel (no subtitles either)
1 German channel (I was pretty sure it was German. cos it's German news, German world cup promotion etc. the only sad thing.. they all speak in English.)
1 Middle East channel (I have no idea what language it was, Arabic me think.)
1 Japanese channel (It was barely visible, fuzzy and all. but can hear clearly)

But oh well, none of them are really watchable. I did sit and watch the Italian soap opera for 15 minutes, just looking at them talk and catching the easier words. GOSH! they speak FAST!

And I don't like Animax. Most animes are english dubbed, no fun.

I WATCHED THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA!! YAYYYYY!!! I really didn't expect it to come out today! But it did so YAYYY!!!

Yep so in the evening, I dragged my mom there to watch and got the tickets!! WOOHOO! So excited! :D Well, it was pretty good methink. It's not like harry potter or anything cos it's really innocent, that's what i like about it. There's no blood at all, honestly, not a single drop even during battle. you may say shucks no fun, but this movie is real cool in that way. it's so pure and innocent, even the characters are that way, especially Lucy.

The thing about Narnia is that the characters are really really lovable. I love every single one of them. Lucy is wonderful! She smiles, she cries, she's so .. i dunno i just wanna hug that girl. I like Susan too, she seems like a great person even in real life. When i see pics of her and William (playing Peter) they look so great. Honestly, the casts in Narnia are wonderful! And Edmund is brilliant! The stubborn little brother.. aww.. so cute. And Peter is really the 'magnificent'. I have to say honestly that William is a fantastic actor, his portrayal of Peter and the love for his siblings is just wonderful! I'm glad I read the book about the movie in borders beforehand, cos from the book i really learnt about each n every cast and it's so cute to see cos the 4 of them are really bonding inside and outside. It's like once you love the kids, you love everything about the movie, really.

Well anyhows, random thoughts on the movie:
-Lucy is soo adorable.
-Edmund would make a great little bro. Skander's a pretty good actor. He's a cheeky one in real life.
-William will have many girl fans in time to come.
-I like Susan. No idea why. I've just always always liked her. and I like Anna too.
-I JUST LOVE THE WHOLE CASTS!!!
-Aslan had too little screen time
-ok, maybe not. but I've always revered Aslan. but oh welps. ohmygosh. i just remembered why I like lions so much! It started with Aslan!!!!
-the turkish delight looks YUMMY!! I MISS TURKISH DELIGHTS! and yes.. finally i find out turkish delight was INDEED from Narnia! Sheesh, i keep mixing up with snow queen.
-the witch is cool! (or cold) my mom says her makeup makes her look like this Singapore actress dunno wad's her name.
-I love the bit where Peter shouts: "FOR NARNIA AND FOR ASLAN!" Cool one!
-i love Aslan's army. The unicorn that Peter rides, and the centaurs (OHMICROD! CENTAURS! SOOO COOL!)
-too little battle scenes. but oh welps. it's supposed to be not too violent u know what i mean. so u can't expect lotr style fight.
-i hope they make the second movie! please please please please. EVERYBODY WATCH NARNIA NOW SO IT BECOMES A HIT AND THEY WILL MAKE THE SECOND ONE!
-oh musn't forget Mr Tumnus.
-AND THE BEAVERS!!!! How could I forget the beavers? I love the beavers!!! Especially the wife. gosh. she's so cute. and the comments her husband makes. HAHAHA yeah. the beavers are tons cute. they are waaay adorable.

I CAN'T WAIT TILL THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA!!!!!! I wonder when it will come out in Indo, there's bad movie selections here. I bet Narnia won't come out till January. Just like Lord of the Rings.. when it's supposed to come out in December, they all came out in January.

I really can't wait. I've liked Narnia a whole lot since a kid. When I saw the old version in my bro's friend's house, I really wanted to watch, but in the end couldn't. WOOH! Now there's the show! It's only the first one, but i hope they make the other six. Pretty difficult though.. since the kids will grow much much much faster. I've read the books 3 times, but when i was younger, so can't remember much now. But I remember Aslan, i Love Aslan! I use to really revere Aslan and wish I'm one of the kids in the stories. And I vaguely remember that Edmund was lured away by Turkish delight. Actually I'm not sure. cos i keep thinking it's from the Snow Queen, but hmm.. i think now that it's from Narnia. I always mix up the two cos the witch in Narnia reminds me of the snow queen.

Anyways, i'm thinking now of all the books I used to love as a kid. can't remember much of them now. I used to speed through the children's section like a mad child. I'll borrow and borrow and borrow like mad. Come to think of it, i've liked fantasy genres since I was a kid. and as I moved to the young adults' section, I continued to read fantasy, but deeper ones. more blood and gore and all. heheh.. I remember another book that I really loved too. The neverending story!! I love that book! I read it like, twice or thrice. I was so excited to see it on Channel i last time. Channel i always show mystical stories like Snow Queen, the Leprachauns.. too bad it wasn't popular enough.

I went to watch tv just now, thinking I could catch some Narnia preview, but apparently it wasn't showing. Ended up watching Lizzie McGuire movie, which i actually wanted to watch but missed a lot of times. It was pretty cute, unreal yeah, but nice to watch anyways. Can't get away from kids shows but yeah. I thought Hilary Duff's pretty nice and sweet. How come ppl hate her? how come ppl like to hate anything they see anyways.

Narnia! Narnia! SIGH! Why did I leave my book in Singapore? I wanna read!!!!!

GAHHHH! I called Valuair today but I couldn't get a ticket on the 21st!! Cos i wanted to change my tixs from 23rd cos on 21st, all my siblings will be in Singapore. AHH I can't stand the thought of them partying WITHOUT ME!! AHHHHH NO NO NO FAIR!!! if i get home on the 21st, my 2nd bro will be flying with me, my eldest bro already in Singapore, and my sis arriving from the US on the same day. can u imagine, it's like 4 kids reunited, this time NO PARENTS, so it's Pure havoc! hieh hieh ....

Well unfortunately for me.. this is not going to happen :( :( :(

Anyways, this year is probably the year i get a FAMILY REUNION!! after like 6 years. Have to take a family photo together man. Goodness knows when our next family reunion will be.

1. I find it SO weird that they only say FIVE. cos I mean, I'm so weird, how can 5 be enough to say everything I want to say. and i bet nobody says this in the game either, so this is weird, so this is number 1.

2. I talk to inanimate objects when I feel like it. I talk to myself (not that I'm an object..) I talk to my teddy bears/lions/dogs/rabbits, I talk to the door, i talk to the computer, i talk to anything anywhere when I feel like it. And once I was talking to the moon all the way from my house to school. I got caught cos i was smiling and talking to the moon when I saw my two classmates who waved to me and gave me a look that said "You're a freak!"

3. I am the invincible and ultimate ninja turtle. My favourite cry is ACK! and i like to hop around with my panda friend who wriggles. I plan to join the international hopping competition, practising for it by hopping endlessly on baseball mats while my panda friend plans to join the international wriggling competition by wriggling endlessly in the mrt.

4. I have stalked a girl before for the pure reason that she is so pretty. Upturned nose. Cute face shape. Beautiful features. pretty lips. Instead of taking the bus, I walked all the way behind her back. (it was on the way anyway)

5. I love Scotland, haggis, kilts etc. and I haven't even seen any of them for real.

gah... i must be bored. why am i even doing this?

Hee.. today is Walt Disney's Birthday. 5 DECEMBER. and it's also Eric's birthday. That's why he has such an awfully cute middle name. Eric Mickey Myers.

He's cute and fun and not as icky as someone's boyfriend.. HAHAHA and he goes mad when he's drunk and he can COOK!!! He doesn't have a c0ol car. he's not rich. but hey I LOVE ERIC TO BITS!!! YAY

-Eat lots and lots of cookies
-Be my brother's ultimate game cheerleader. "GO! Stab the monster!"
-sit on the staircase and sleep
-sit next to the staircase, take some pillows and sleep
-mutter incoherent Italian to myself. Like.. POLLO!
-hugging people as they pass by and giving them free massage when i feel like it
-kicking people's butts
-making funny faces when my maid is working
-taking the broom and pretending I'm a witch and laughing sinisterly.
-taking the mop and anyhow shoving it around the house and sometimes smacking my bro's butt to irritate him.

-laugh at my brother doing his disgusting armpits dance
-and doing crazy mad out of the mind things which I regret.

For the benefit of those who keeps asking and forget, here are my flight details. If nothing is changed and there are no delays or troubles whatsoever, this is how things will be like.

23rd December: I WILL BE FLYING BACK TO SINGAPORE.

and I will be packing and buying stuffs and all. so if you want to go out with me, i can only probably meet you to buy my stuffs. yah? And that's provided that my sister doesn't want to go out with me. (which is rare)

27th December: I WILL BE FLYING TO AMERICA

If you want to send me off, i will find out what time my flight is and then we can meet up earlier in the airport and eat. after that i can hug people, and some crazy nuts can start waving to strangers in the airport. :D

I say, HB's the smartest. Her MSN nick has my flight dates (0r used to anyway..maybe she memorised it already). haha
